Matthews Belopavlovich holds a BFA in acting from UW-Milwaukee, a master’s degree in theatre from Regent University, and graduate certificate in ASD advocacy from Lesley University. Matthew spent a decade teaching and directing students at the Straz Center’s Patel Conservatory, where he received the 2018 Teacher of the Year award. Professional performance credits include work with Orlando Family Theatre, TampaRep, Walt Disney World, and Skylight Music Theatre. Belopavlovich has worked as a theatre educator at Florida Studio Theatre, French Woods Festival of the Arts, Hartford University School, Milwaukee Public Theatre, and the Patel Conservatory. He was able to live out his childhood dream of performing as a clown with Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey for two years. Television background credits include MTV’s The Inbetweeners, Nat Geo's The Right Stuff, and various commercials. Belopavlovich has directed regional productions for Show Palace Dinner Theatre and Prairie Fire Children’s Theatre, and his theatre workshops have been presented at various conferences around the country. He is currently the middle school drama teacher at Shorecrest Preparatory School.
