Teacher
Marisa Skube Carr is a theatre educator in Edmond, Oklahoma. Entering her 20th year in education, she has taught elementary math and science (12 years), middle school theatre (7 years), and will transition to high school theatre in the fall. She is an avid mentor to theatre education students and helps write theatre curriculum assessments for the Oklahoma State Department of Education. She also holds a master's degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Central Oklahoma.
In addition to directing school productions, Marisa has been seen in several Oklahoma Community Theatre productions over the years. Favorites include: The Wizard of Oz (Wicked Witch), Mary Poppins (Miss Lark), Dirty Work on the Trail (Melba), and Gypsy (Tessie Tura). In her free time, she likes to cycle with her husband, Mark.
