Alexius Rayford

Ms. Rayford, a native of California with a love for the stage, spent her formative years in
Houston, Texas with her three children. Growing up as a military brat and the youngest of two siblings, she discovered her passion for art in all its beautiful forms. From performing on stage to writing captivating promos, plays, and even indulging in movie magic, Ms. Rayford's creativity knew no bounds. She's obtained two degrees and is a proud HBCU (Langston University) graduate. Having amassed over 13 years of experience in the theater and film world, Ms. Rayford understands the transformative power that the arts can have on a scholar’s life. She strongly believes that creativity should be an integral part of every young person's education, as it fosters growth and unlocks hidden potentials.
Ms. Rayford, strives to create an environment that combines academic excellence with the
power of artistic expression. She believes that by nurturing scholars’ creativity, we can empower them to become confident individuals who are ready to take on the world.
She eagerly looks forward to the upcoming school year, where she plans to further develop the Drama department. Her vision is to provide students with unforgettable experiences, from the art of performing to the thrill of writing. She envisions a space where families can come together to support their talented children, to witness their growth and transformation through the joy of theater.
