This week Jimmy talks with Texas teacher Polly Harrison. She talks about engaging new students, her EPIC theatre festival, and the importance of storytelling in our work.
Teacher
Polly Harrison is an educator, director and actress who has worked with high school students for almost 2 decades. She is just as thrilled introducing the theatrical arts to a beginning student as she is when watching treasured alum perform on Broadway. It is her belief that students learn best when engaging with curriculum and peers outside the classroom. This belief is what led her to Co-Found The Epic Waters Theatre Festival - a place where students can learn while having fun building relationships as a team.
