This week Jimmy talks with New Jersey teacher Steven Collins. He talks about imposter syndrome, fostering a classroom environment that is both welcoming and challenging, and using relationships with students to push them further.

Steven Collins is a New Jersey based theatre educator and director. Since 2018 he has been on the performing arts staff at Academy for Performing Arts, a magnet high school which is part of the Union County Vocational Technical Schools. Prior to teaching high school, he taught for one year at a performing arts elementary school. Steven has experience in teaching every grade level P-12, directing, and stage management and his productions have received state-wide recognition from Montclair State University and Paper Mill Playhouse's Rising Star Awards.
